Mobile app for 800 real estate agents to sieve out Do Not Call (DNC) Registry
The 800 real estate agents will be the first to use the app called SpiderGate to sieve out numbers that has been listed in the Do Not Call (DNC). This will prompt the agents before cold-calling or sending text message on the go. This will also means that real estate companies will not need to manually check the numbers against the registry.
Who Invented SpiderGate ?
SpiderGate was invented by Straits Interactive, leveraging on the technology of Hoiio, calls made using landlines will be blocked automatically if one is already listed in the registry or their company's own blacklist. Meanwhile, if it is called through mobile phone, an alert will pop up if the individual is under DNC list with an option to cancel or continue with the calling.
How Does the DNC Affect Real Estate Agents ?
With the new implemented ruling on DNC, I believe that it has tightened up the real estate agents with the limitation, together with the cooling measures that has been implemented so quickly within these few years. Real estate agents would really need to show quality service to attract home-owners and potential buyers in the market in the future.
To current date, more than 420,000 numbers have been registered to DNC Registry.
